About us

Who we are

We are a group of people who love the sea, sailing, nature, unique and different journeys.

At Terra Incognita, we want to share our spirit of adventure by sailing on a sailboat with only 8 people on board, typically 2 professional crew members and 6 guests who come on board with a team of expert crew members as guests.

We welcome anyone who wants to join us and explore the most remote places and nature in its purest form, as humans can access it.

Sailing at high latitudes involves enormous challenges. The southern seas are extremely harsh, the weather is hostile, and fear of unknown situations can be paralyzing. However, the reward offered by nature to those who dare is monumental.

For this reason, we are extremely careful in the planning and preparation of each voyage. Our motto is Safety First. Our captains are world-class professionals, have experience sailing on ice, and the boat was designed and built in a safe and comfortable way for the southern seas. Our commitment to safety is non-negotiable.

To people with a spirit of exploration and adventure, we say: welcome aboard.

Who this is for

This is not a luxury cruise. It is a hands-on boat.

This experience is designed for people who have sailing experience or no sailing experience at all, but who want a unique, special, and unforgettable journey on board a sailboat with only 8 people on board, including crew and guests. It is a completely personalized experience, where every invited crew member matters.

Participate

Within each guest's possibilities, active participation is expected in boat maneuvers, watches, cooking and keeping spaces clean.

Share camaraderie

The journey is aimed at people who want to share the camaraderie that only sailing in the harshness of the sea can bring, and who enjoy marine life, landscapes, the sea and sunsets.

Reach remote places

On the sailboat, we reach places that cruise ships cannot reach and disembark in remote and beautiful places.

Become part of the journey

The difference between a tourist and a sailor or explorer is that the explorer prepares their own food. There are no cooks or waiters. This trip is for anyone who wants an unforgettable, epic journey.
